Gite 2
The side wing of the maison de maître used to house the wine cellar and the coach house on the ground floor, and the storage of dry goods on the floor above. These rooms have been completely converted (of which only the roof structure and outer walls have been retained) into two nice gites (holiday homes). In July and August the gites are available for families with children aged twelve and over. In April, May, June and September, the gites (just like the maison) are available to guests aged sixteen and over.
Layout
This four-person gîte has an area of approximately 60 m2. It is a ground-floor residential unit (first floor) with a staircase from the living room to the attic room with two single beds (80 x 190 cm) with a low (sloping) roof.
On the floor there are:
- a spacious open corner kitchen
- a living room with dining area and sitting area
- a balcony with sliding balcony doors
- a hallway to the double bedroom with hotel box spring double bed of 160 X 200cm
- a separate toilet
- the bathroom with sink and modern walk-in shower
- a hallway to the front door.
Contemporary comfort
The gîte has the 'terre cuite' floor tiles characteristic of the region. Together with antique cupboards, tables and chairs, this gives the gîte a lot of charm. The kitchen has complete kitchen equipment with stove (oven), microwave and refrigerator, including kitchen linen. There is a central extraction system, a washing machine and heating.
Sunny balcony
The living room has a glass front with doors to a lovely balcony; a spacious and private sunny terrace has been created through a recess in the roof, with a view over the garden and the mountains behind it. There is a lot of light through the glass facade.
Parking
There is a parking lot at the rear of our site. On arrival and departure you can park your car in front of the gîte to unload or load your luggage. From the rear, the central hall of the gîte is reached via a slightly sloping path, which is directly adjacent to the cherry orchard.
PS: If the B&B is not full, you can park your car on the grounds of La Cerisaie. If the B&B is full, you can park your car in the public parking lot behind the site. cherry orchard.
Energy
The costs for gas, water and electricity are included. Use what you need, but we also ask you to consider the environment.
Bed and bath linen
Towels and bed linen are included in the price. Extra bed linen and/or change of bed linen within one week can be arranged on request (€5 pp). Bath towels are not included in the price, but can be rented on request (€5 per person).
Cleaning
It is our experience that properly cleaning a gîte easily takes 3 hours. We don't think it's realistic for you to spend your last day of vacation this way. That is why we take care of the cleaning (€60) so that you can enjoy La Cerisaie until the last minute! This will be automatically charged when booking the gîte.
Breakfast & dinner
You can use the breakfast service (€12.50) in the maison every day. Two or three times a week we provide a three-course dinner (€30) in which you can participate. In both cases, please let us know at least one day in advance.
Tourist tax: €0.90 per person per day.
