Room Classic

La Cerisaie has two rooms of this type. They are bright rooms with an area of 16 m2 with high ceilings and one window (double glazing and shutters).

The room on the second floor is the second room (and bathroom) that we have modernized. This room has carpeted floors and a mix of modern and antique furniture, including a seating area. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink and toilet. The double bed is 210 x 160 cm, so nice for tall people.

The classic room on the first floor is more classic in nature, with a marble mantelpiece, antique furniture and a seating area. This room also has an en-suite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.

Both rooms have a kettle with coffee/tea set. There is heating in the bedroom. Both rooms face southeast with a view of the valley of the Jaur river and the mountains behind it.

It is not possible to place an extra (3rd) bed in these rooms. Our rooms are suitable for guests aged 16 and over.

Room Comfort

La Cerisaiae has one room of this type. It is a bright room on the second floor with an area of 19 m2. With high ceilings and two double windows (double glazing and shutters).

Design
This room with many shades of blue and beautiful oak floor has an antique hanging cupboard, a hood/writing table with chair, a cozy sitting area and an electric kettle with coffee/tea set. This French rural atmosphere is combined with contemporary comfort. The room has a hotel box spring with two single mattresses of 90 x 200 cm. The bed can also be made up as a double bed.

The bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower and is equipped with a central extraction system. There is heating in the bedroom and bathroom. The room faces southeast with a view over the valley and the river Jaur and the mountains behind it.

It is possible to place an extra (third) bed in this room. Our rooms are suitable for guests aged 16 and over.

Room superior

There are two Superior rooms, both 25 m2 in size and located on the first or second floor. With high ceilings and two double windows (double glazing and shutters), these are bright rooms.

The room on the first floor is more classic, with antique cupboards, a writing table and chairs, and has a wooden floor and a beautiful marble fireplace. The en-suite bathroom of this room is more spacious and has a sink, toilet and bath with shower in the bath.

The superior room on the second floor is the first room (and bathroom) that we have modernized and has a different look & feel than the room on the first floor. Here there is a mix of modern and antique furniture. This room has carpeted floors, an extra large double bed of 210 x 200 cm and an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and toilet.

Both rooms face southeast with a view of the valley of the Jaur river and the mountains behind it. The rooms also have a cozy seating area and an electric kettle with coffee/tea set.

It is possible to place an extra (third) bed in these rooms. Our rooms are suitable for guests aged 16 and over.

When booking you can indicate a preference for one of the two rooms. We try to take that into account.

Studio

The studio is located on the second floor of the house and is a separate residential unit. We provided the sleeping area with new wallpaper in the winter of 23/24.

This nice study consists of a living room/bedroom with seating area, an antique hanging cupboard and a double bed of 150 x 200. The studio is approximately 30m2 in total and has double windows overlooking the valley of the river Jaur. In addition to the living room/bedroom, the studio has a separate (dining) kitchen with a kitchen corner, refrigerator, microwave, countertop with a two-burner hob and a two/three-person dining table. Tea and towels are provided. The spacious bathroom with bath, sink and toilet is accessible from both the kitchen and the bedroom.

The studio is ideal if you want to manage your own time and cook yourself, but still want to enjoy the atmosphere of the maison and have all the facilities that La Cerisaie offers within easy reach.

Breakfast is not included in the price. You can use the breakfast service (€12.50 pp).

Gite 1, suitable for 2 people

Gite 1
The side wing of the maison de maître used to house the wine cellar and the coach house on the ground floor and the storage of dry goods on the floor above. These rooms have been completely converted (only the roof structure and outer walls have been retained) into two nice gites (holiday homes). In July and August, both gites are available for families with children aged twelve and over. In April, May, June and September the gites (just like the maison) are for guests aged sixteen and older.

Layout
Gîte 1 is a double house with an area of 50 m2 spread over two floors. On the ground floor there is:

• a bedroom with a hotel box spring double bed of 160 X 200cm
• entrance door to the garden
• a separate toilet
• a bathroom with shower (in bath) and sink.

The first floor is reached via a fixed staircase with:

• a living-dining room with kitchen corner
• a balcony with patio doors
• access to the hall, from which the rear parking lot can be reached.
  

It is possible to place one extra (folding) bed in the living room.

Contemporary comfort
The gîte has the 'terre cuite' floor tiles characteristic of the region. Together with antique cupboards, tables and chairs, this gives the gîte a lot of charm. The kitchen has complete kitchen equipment with stove (oven), microwave and refrigerator. Tea and towels are provided. There is a central extraction system, a washing machine and heating.

Sunny balcony
The living room has a glass front with doors to a lovely balcony; Through a recess in the roof surface, a spacious private sunny terrace has been created, with a view over the garden and the mountains behind it. This glass front allows a lot of light.

Parking
There is a parking lot at the rear of our site. On arrival and departure you can park your car in front of the gîte to unload or load your luggage. From the rear, the central hall of the gîte is reached via a slightly sloping path, which is directly adjacent to the cherry orchard.

PS: If the B&B is not full, you can park your car on the grounds of La Cerisaie. If the B&B is full, you can park your car in the public parking lot behind the site.

Energy
The costs for gas, water and electricity are included. Use what you need, but we also ask you to take the environment into account.

Bed and bath linen
Towels and bed linen are included in the price. Extra bed linen and/or change of bed linen within one week can be arranged on request (€5 pp). Bath towels are not included in the price, but can be rented on request (€5 per person).

Cleaning
It is our experience that properly cleaning a gîte can easily take three hours. We don't think it's realistic for you to spend your last day of vacation this way. That is why we take care of the cleaning (€50) so that you can enjoy La Cerisaie until the last minute! This will be automatically charged when booking the gîte.

Breakfast & dinner
You can use the breakfast service in the maison every day for €12.50 pp. Two or three times a week we provide a three-course dinner (€30 pp), in which you can participate. In both cases, please let us know at least one day in advance.

Tourist tax: €0.90 per person per day.

Gite 2: suitable for 4 people

Gite 2

This four-person gîte has an area of approximately 60 m2. It is a ground-floor residential unit (first floor) with a staircase from the living room to the attic room with two single beds (80 x 190 cm) with a low (sloping) roof.

On the floor there are:

• a spacious open corner kitchen
• a living room with dining area and sitting area
• a balcony with folding balcony doors
• a hallway to the double bedroom with hotel box spring double bed of 160 X 200cm
• a separate toilet
• the bathroom with sink and modern walk-in shower
• a hallway to the front door.
