Theme weeks & Arrangements
La Cerisaie offers a number of themed weeks and packages. If you want more than just a pleasant stay at La Cerisaie, we have the following options.
- Wine Course
In collaboration with wine teacher Caroline Cocheret from Wijneducatie Nederland follow a fun and interesting wine course. Caroline teaches you the basics of wine in five lessons (in Dutch) and prepares you for the SDEN 2: Wijnbrevet exam. Of course, there will also be tastings: 8 different wines per lesson. In the afternoon, you can visit various vineyards, take a bike tour guided by a Dutch guide who has worked on a vineyard for years, or go on a jeep safari at another winery. The price includes:
- 7 nights stay at La Cerisaie, including breakfast;
- three times a three-course dinner including wine arrangement;
- two times a two-course lunch including house wine;

- wine course including all necessary materials. - Yoga Workshop
New in 2026: a three-day yoga workshop taught by Alice, a yoga teacher from the village who has done her yoga training in various countries. A three-day workshop focusing on yoga, meditation, and good food.
Price: €380,- pp (based on 2 persons per room).
The price includes:
- 3 nights stay at La Cerisaie, including breakfast;
- tourist tax;
- three dinners (3 courses)
- two lunches
- the yoga workshop
- Sculpting or Painting Workshop
From September 15-18, La Cerisaie will be creative. Under the guidance of Lisette Meijrink or Katrin, you will spend two days with brush and paint, painting a bridge over the Jaur in Riols, for example. Or get your hands dirty with clay and make a beautiful bust.
>> PAINTING WORKSHOP
Do you want to paint in peace for a few days in our unique location? Under the professional guidance of Lisette, you will learn to see and paint the landscape. Capture old bridges and rivers in an original way. You will receive explanations about perspective, color use, and form. Each day you will create a painting on canvas with a different subject. Both beginners and experienced painters are welcome. The course is taught by Lisette Meijrink, an experienced teacher who has been painting for 35 years herself. She has a gallery/boutique in Assignan, a village near La Cerisaie. For more info: www.meijrink.art.

If you stay with two people in a room, the cost per person is €309,- (room classic) to €355,- (room superior). >> SCULPTING WORKSHOP
Create a bust, mask, or head in three dimensions! During the course, we work 6 hours per day on a fully sculpted head, bust, portrait, half-relief, or mask. It can be naturalistic, caricaturist, or abstract in nature. You will receive explanations about form theory, the effect of an object in space, as well as parts about anatomy. This way, you will technically understand how to work on the details of the face. The sculpting workshop is given by Katrin Kleinau.
Price:
> Stay: From €435,- (room classic) to € 475,- (room superior) per person based on a single room. If you stay with two people in a room, the cost per person is €309,- (room classic) to €335,- (room superior). This includes three breakfasts, three lunches, two three-course dinners, coffee & tea with treats.

- Painting Workshop
Painter Els Knockaert lives in the nearby beautiful village of Olargues. Els organizes a couple of times a year a two-day workshop, where guests from La Cerisaie can participate.
Do you want to make your first brushstrokes during an unforgettable workshop? Or do you want to improve your painting techniques? Then this course is for you! On the course days, you will work with paint and brushes, and the goal is to go home with a beautiful result, perhaps with a little help from Els :).
Price: Workshop participation: €180,- (incl. all materials & lunch).
Workshop dates 2026:
>>> Landscape: May 9 & 10 and June 20 & 21.
>>> Portrait: May 2 & 3 and June 11 & 12 (for advanced).

- Cycling or Hiking Package (bookable at any time)
La Cerisaie is located in the beautiful regional nature park Haut Languedoc. For mountain bikers and hikers, there are plenty of beautiful mountain bike routes nearby or in the nearby Montaignes Noires.
For those who just want to cycle or go for a walk: you can do so on the 'Passa Pais' or 'Voie Verte', the old railway line that runs behind La Cerisaie and is now a walking and cycling path. La Cerisaie is located approximately halfway along the 'Bedarieux - Mazamet' route, so you can go in either direction.

The cycling package includes:
- Welcome drink upon arrival at La Cerisaie;
- 3 nights in a room in the Maison (rooms based on availability), including breakfast;
- 2 days rental of 2 mountain bikes. On the third day, you can relax by the pool or explore the area in another way.
- One three-course dinner, incl. coffee/tea.
- 2 lunch packages for the cycling days
Price for 2 persons: Room 'classic': €395,- (low/off-season) - €425,- (high season).
Price for 2 persons: Room 'superior': €430,- (low/off-season) - €460,- (high season).
The hiking package is without bike rental: the prices are €40,- pp lower than the above prices. - Motorcycle Package
La Cerisaie is located in a beautiful area that is also great for motorcycling. Click here for a map with motorcycle routes.
We have two tour motorcycles: a Suzuki V-Strom and a BMW Classic K100. The motorcycles had their maintenance in July 2023. Rental will be arranged through 'Motoshare' to ensure proper insurance coverage. Optionally, you can also rent two motorcycle suits (size L/XL) and shoes (size 42 and 43). It is handy if you bring your own helmet.
The motorcycle package includes:
- Welcome drink upon arrival at La Cerisaie;
- 3 nights in a room in the Maison (rooms based on availability), including breakfast;
- 2 days rental of two motorcycles. On the third day, you can relax by the pool or explore the area in another way.

If you want to enjoy a week at La Cerisaie with a group of friends, colleagues, or family and do fun things without spending too much time researching a nice program, this week with a customized program is a good option. No choice stress about what to do or where to eat. We will discuss your wishes together and create a fun program. This week is possible for groups of six or more. - Renting the Entire La Cerisaie / Upon request
It is also possible to rent the entire Cerisaie. For example, for such a friends or family week, a wedding, or other occasions. Contact us and inquire about the possibilities. Note: we also live on La Cerisaie.
