Theme weeks & Arrangements
La Cerisaie offers a number of theme weeks and packages. If you want something more than just a nice stay at La Cerisaie, we have the following options:
- Wine course
In 2025 we will organize another wine week in the first week of June (31/05 - 07/06). Under the guidance of wine teacher Caroline Cocheret of Wijneducatie Nederland you will receive five lessons about wine and you will be prepared for the wine exam SDEN 2: Wine Certificate. Of course there will also be tasting: 8 different wines per lesson. We will visit the Dutch winemaker Lidewij van Wilgen from the beautiful domain Terre de Dames , who will explain in detail how she makes her delicious wines.

From 17-19 September, La Cerisaie is wrapped in creativity. Under the guidance of Lisette Meijrink or Katrin, you will work with brush and paint for two days, and paint, for example, the bridge over the Jaur in Riols. Or get your hands in clay and make a vase, bowl or something else, for your living room at home.
>> PAINTING WORKSHOP
Would you like to paint outside in peace and quiet for a few days at our special location? Under the professional guidance of Lisette, you will learn to see and paint the landscape. Capture old bridges and rivers in an original way. You will receive an explanation about perspective, use of color and form. You will make a painting on canvas with a different subject every day. Both beginners and experienced painters are welcome. The course is given by Lisette Meijrink, an experienced teacher who has been painting for 35 years. She has a gallery/boutique in Assignan, a village near La Cerisaie. For more information: www.meijrink.art.

>> SCULPTING WORKSHOP
Make a bust, mask or head in three dimensions! During the course we work 6 hours a day on a fully sculpted head, bust, portrait, half-relief or mask. This can be naturalistic, caricatural or abstract in nature. You will receive an explanation of form theory, the effect of an object in space, as well as parts about anatomy. For example, you will receive technical explanations on how to work the details of the face. The sculpting workshop is given by Katrin Kleinau
Price:
> Stay: From €425,- (classic room) to €465,- (superior room) per person based on a single room. If you stay with two people in a room, the cost per person is €299,- (classic room) to €325,- (superior room). This includes three breakfasts, three lunches, two three-course dinners, coffee & tea with something tasty.

NB: It is possible to biscuit bake the work and/or engrave it at a later time (additional costs).
- Painting Workshop
Painter Els Knockaert lives in the nearby pretty village of Olargues. Els organizes a two-day workshop several times a year, in which guests of La Cerisaie can participate.
Do you want to make your first brushstrokes during an unforgettable workshop? Or do you want to improve your painting techniques? Then this course is for you! On the course days you will be working with paint and brush, and the intention is that you will eventually go home with a beautiful result, perhaps with a little help from Els :).
Price to participate in the workshop: €165.

- Cycling or walking package (can be booked at any time)
La Cerisaie is located in the beautiful provincial nature park Haut Languedoc . For mountain bikers and hikers there are many beautiful mountain bike trails nearby or in the nearby Montaignes Noires.
If you just want to cycle or take a walk: you can do so on the ' Passa Pais ' or 'Voie Verte', the old railway line that runs behind La Cerisaie and is now a walking and cycling path. La Cerisaie is about halfway along the 'Bedarieux - Mazamet' route, so you can go in two directions.

The cycling package consists of:
- Welcome drink upon arrival at La Cerisaie;
- 3 nights in a room in the Maison (rooms subject to availability), including breakfast;
- 2 days rental of 2 mountain bikes. The third day you can chill by the pool, or explore the area in another way.
- a three-course dinner on 1 evening, incl. coffee/tea.
- 2 packed lunches for the cycling days
Price for 2 persons: Room 'classic': €395,- (pre/post season) - €425,- (main season).
Price for 2 persons: 'Superior' room: €430,- (pre/post season) - €460,- (main season).
The walking arrangement does not include bike rental: the prices are €40 per person lower than the prices mentioned above. - Motor arrangement
La Cerisaie is located in a beautiful area where it is also nice to ride a motorbike . Click here for a map with motorbike routes.
We have two touring motorcycles: a Suzuki V-Strom and a BMW Classic K100. The motorcycles were serviced in July 2023. The rental will be done via 'Motoshare', so that the insurance is well arranged. A motorcycle suit size L/XL and size M and shoes (size 42 and size 43) can also be rented. It is useful if you bring your own helmet.
The motorcycle package consists of:

If you want to enjoy a week at La Cerisaie with a group of friends, colleagues or your family and do all sorts of fun things there, without spending too much time choosing a nice program, then this week with a customized program is a good option. No stress about choosing what to do or where to eat. We discuss your wishes together and then put together a nice program. This week is possible for groups of six people or more. - Rent the entire La Cerisaie / In consultation
It is also possible to rent the whole of Cerisaie. For example for a friends or family week. Or for a wedding or other occasion. Contact us and ask about the possibilities. Please note: we also stay at La Cerisaie.
